Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop. I am so excited to be participating in a blog hop for the first time! If you have come here from Kim Hill’s blog, then you are on the right path. It’s easy to follow, just click on the link at the end of this post to move on to the next one.
Since we are highlighting the Close To My Heart Skylark paper in this hop, I wanted to share with you a set of cards and coordinating storage box I have created out of this very pretty and versatile paper.
This is the front and the inside of the top of the box. The pattern on this paper is so beautiful, it needs hardly any embellishing at all. The flowers were made using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge. Speaking of cartridges… if you join CTMH this month, you can select one of the three Cricut cartridges for FREE! I am so enjoying being part of this fabulous team, and I know you would too.
Inside the box we find a set of five cards. Although birds are the predominant theme in this set, I absolutely love the dragonfly stamp that comes with the Workshop on the Go Scrapbooking Kit. It lends itself wonderfully to any sentiment. Therefore the cards are the same design but with different phrases. Although it’s difficult to tell from the photo, I covered the dragonfly in Liquid Glass which really makes its wings shine! The overlay on the card is from the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and now it’s time to hop over to Kim Richardson’s blog to see how her creativity shines through with Skylark.
