Welcome to another Rose Blossom Blog Hop. If you have arrived from Kim’s Violets and Sunshine, you are going in the right direction, and I’m sure you’ve been wowed. Tonight we are showcasing the Hello Life! stamp sets available to celebrate National Stamping Month. Each set is designed for either the scrapbooker, cardmaker, or Picture-My-Lifer (although if you’re like me, you’ll be able find something to do with any of them in any circumstance).
Recently, I’ve come to the realization that my husband and I need to do a better job of capturing photos with the two of us together. Our mega-trip to Alaska last summer is a case in point. We took over 3000 pictures, but after sorting through all of them, I discovered there are only ten that include both of us – deplorable! So when my cousin and I were going through a box of her old pictures the other day, and we came across the picture below, I snatched it up immediately.
I’ve been pinning a lot of mixed media layouts lately and love the look, but I rarely (ok never) do layouts with only one picture. Since this picture is so special to me, I decided to make it a work of art for my den, and try my hand at mixed media. I had a lot of fun putting this together with the Zoe paper/embellishments, our new Watercolor Paints, gesso, modeling paste, and lots of getting messy in my craft room.
Here’s a pic of all three stamp sets. Although they’re meant for different applications, I think they can be used for anything and they all coordinate well together. You can purchase each for $13.95, or all three for $34.95 ($6.90 savings).
Thanks so much for stopping by. Now it’s off to Kim’s Memories in Thyme – I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us!
