Welcome to another Rose Blossom Blog Hop! If you have arrived from Morgan’s TweetScraps, you are headed in the right direction. Morgan’s work truly is amazing, isn’t it?
If you haven’t heard already, March is Stampaganza here at Close To My Heart. It’s a great special — buy two stamp sets, get one free! So, tonight we are each highlighting our favorite stamp set to inspire you. I chose Wavy Blooms.
I saw this technique a while back somewhere (I can’t remember where, so if you know to whom I need to give a shout out, please let me know and I will update this post!), and I knew Wavy Blooms would be the perfect stamp set for it. The stamping is heat-embossed with white embossing powder on our kraft cardstock and then colored in with vibrant ShinHan alcohol markers. You will want to use your darker markers as the color does get lost in the kraft with the lighter ones. I really just love how everything pops!
The possibilities really are endless with this set. For example, it would also make a great background pattern for a whimsical or tropical scrapbook layout.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and now it’s off to Kim’s Memories in Thyme – another amazing blog full of crafty goodness.
